All State Fastener Corporation History
September 1950 | Anthony Giorgio begins his career in the fastener industry with Perry Screw and Bolt Co. as an order filler. He rapidly advances in the company through diligence and a deep seeded desire to be successful. |
January 1963 | Anthony Giorgio and George Schoensee from Apex Fastener decide to form All State Fastener. They find a storefront property at 701 East McNichols and open for business. Four employees work long hours to keep up with the workload and use practical jokes and all night card games to keep spirits high. As the business grows and prospers, additional staff are employed and trained to understand the importance of the relationship between the customer and supplier. |
January 1965 | Due to growth All State Fastener moves to 6017 East McNichols. |
January 1969 | In four short years All State Fastener relocates to 14495 East 8 Mile Road due to continued growth and expansion. |
September 1972 | The facility is expanded by 8,100 square feet due to continued growth. |
July 1982 | In recognition of increasing demand and expansion of our customer base, the decision is made to strategically locate full satellite locations as the voice of the customer dictates. Our first location in opened in Dublin, Ohio. |
January 1985 | The Windsor, Ontario Canada facility opens. |
May 1985 | The Marietta, Georgia facility opens. |
March 1990 | The Las Vegas, Nevada facility opens. |
September 1992 | In recognition of our ever increasing sophistication in the supply chain, All State Fastener embarks on the journey to becoming a Total Quality Managed corporation. |
January 1993 | A facilitator from the American Supplier Institute is contracted to assist All State Fastener through transition of becoming a Total Quality Managed corporation. |
June 1993 | In its ongoing efforts toward continuous improvement, and a desire to identify and streamline it’s operations, a new corporation structure is created to better identify specific responsibilities and improve focus on our value added services. Mission Statement, Philosophy, and Objective statements are published. |
September 1993 | The Roswell, New Mexico facility opens. |
March 1994 | Reno, Nevada and Seattle, Washington facilities open. All State Fastener achieves the Q101W Supplier designation form Ford Motor Company. |
May 1995 | All State Fastener achieves the Ford Q1 Quality Rating. |
June 1995 | The Alpena, Michigan facility opens. |
April 1996 | The Toledo, Ohio facility opens. |
March 1997 | The Amarillo, Texas facility opens |
February 1998 | The Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada Facility opens |
December 1998 | Became QS 9000/ ISO 9002 Certified at Warren Facility |
August 1999 | Became QS 9000/ISO 9002 Certified at Windsor, Ontario Facility |
June 2001 | The Russellville, Kentucky facility opens. |
April 2003 | The Longview, Texas facility opens. |
August 2003 | The Lafayette, Indiana facility opens. |
September 2006 | Due to growth, All State Fastener relocates to 15460 E 12 Mile Road |
September 2013 | Awarded CTPAT certification |
August 2014 | The Fond du Lac, Wisconsin facility opens. |
March 2015 | The Mauston, Wisconsin facility opens. |
November 2016 | Certified QS 9001:2008 |
January 2018 | Certified QS 9001:2015 |
